	...one of potentially many podcasts about Anne McCaffrey’s long-running and best-selling Dragonriders of Pern series (1967-2003, not counting the books cowritten with or solely written by her children). We’re Lleu (tumblr) and Tequila Mockingbird, long-time Pern readers and first time podcasters. In Season 1, which ran from August 2024 to November 2025, we (re)read and discussed each work in the series in publication order, with additional episodes discussing the series’s place in the history of the science fiction and fantasy genres and its historical context over three and a half decades. Season 2 (beginning April 2026) offers both broader and deeper looks at context of Pern, as well as its fannish reception: its literary antecedents and its continuing legacy, in-depth looks at aspects of its world-building, the Fake Good Versions of Pern That Live in Our Heads, and more.
